Is My Car Bugged?

TSCM investigations, better known as bug sweeps, have long been an oft-requested service for us. Historically, these requests involve businesses or residences (although we were recently contracted to inspect a local city council's meeting chamber). A fairly new trend is the question of whether a vehicle might be "bugged". This concern is not surprising. Although the bugging of a vehicle can take the form of an audio listening device or a tiny video camera, GPS tracking units are what we find most. The proliferation of cheap, easily-concealed, GPS trackers, readily available on the Internet, has made many of our clients understandably nervous about their privacy while in their own car.
