To Keep In Mind When Ordering A Surveillance
When a client arranges for surveillance (on a spouse, lover, an ex-spouse regarding a custody/child support issue, etc.), one of our standard questions is where and when they want the actual surveillance to begin. Surprisingly often, the response will be something along the lines of, “I don’t know his/her current schedule that well. You guys are the experts — you decide.” We can (and, when required to, will) make that call but it is preferable that the client take on that responsibility. Unless you have unlimited time and unlimited budget (and very few clients do), it just makes more sense this way. Yes, it might require some guesswork on your part but since the person to be followed is a total stranger to us (at least, in the beginning), your guess is almost always going to better than ours.
